GVWR / GAWR Check
Even if total weight is fine, one axle can be overloaded. Usually it's the rear axle, under tongue or pin weight.
Where the numbers come from
GVWR and the GAWRs are printed on the certification label on the driver's door jamb. The axle weights come from a CAT scale weigh with the trailer attached and the WD hitch engaged.
Safety note: These are planning estimates, not a guarantee your setup is safe or legal. Always verify with your truck's door-jamb sticker, the manufacturer's towing guide for your exact configuration, the trailer's VIN sticker, and a real weigh at a CAT scale. Never exceed any rating.
